Hello again Dear Reader.
As this writer is enjoying the arrival of spring weather, the parting of the gray, winter clouds, and the appearance of sunshine she hopes to bring to you a few new makeup tips to brighten your smile.
Spring brings out the sunshine and we are forced to leave the shadows of winter and venture out into its unapologetic glare. But fear not! This glare is nothing compared to the studio lights that Hollywood movie stars were subject to in the 1930s.
So what can you do to appear just as polished and refined as Ms Marlene Dietrich and Ms Joan Crawford.

First off, eyebrows are to be as thin as is humanly possible. Do not be afraid of the tweezers!
Secondly, the skin must (and this is an absolute must!) the skin must be absolutely perfect. The more that a lady’s face resembles that of the marble of Venus the better. And with the newly available Pancake makeup from renowned artist Max Factor this has never been easier to achieve.

As for eyes, gone are the panda peepers of the previous decade and here now are the soft tones of new cream eye shadows accentuated by the precision of the accompanying eye liner pencil (all of these products are available now from Max factor…where would we be without him?).
No eye makeup routine is complete without Bambi like lashes, the best weapon in any girl’s flirting arsenal. Mascara is now available in a waterproof formula! So have no fear ladies, you can run through the rain without worry of resembling the ever so strange paintings arriving from the German Dadaists.
Finally no look is complete without a slash of brightly colored lipstick. With more and more colors to choose from the world is your oyster and experimentation is key!
So go, dear reader, and enjoy the spring sunshine without fear of passing showers and with skin so flawless that Hollywood will certainly come knocking.
