This writer felt the need, while scrolling through endless, depressing news articles to take writing back to a simpler time.  To go back to a writing style that was less about the politics of an opinion and more about the humour of a ridiculous situation.  To write about topics that felt important without going on a crusade or trying to start a revolution.  And thus my blog was born.
