Society Page: Ms Margaret Sanger

Ms Margaret Sanger was seen today leaving from court with her attorney. She was arrested after a sting operation in which an undercover policewoman purchased one of her illegal pamphlets.

These pamphlets, so say the officials, provide women with highly dangerous information. Information that will certainly lead to the dissolution of the family. The destruction of society as we know it now. And to monstrous regiments of women marching through the streets.

This arrest comes after Ms Sanger’s return from Great Britain after fleeing a similar charge in 1914. Clearly Ms Sanger’s self-imposed exile has done nothing to temper her need to disrupt the status quo.

Far from being tempered she has thumbed her nose at the establishment by establishing the American Birth Control League (which has a branch in Harlem), the National Committee on Federal Legislation for Birth Control, and has served as president of the International Planned Parenthood Federation.

If Ms Sanger’s activities are permitted to continue families will certainly begin to shrink and women will lose their purpose in the home. And this will inevitably lead to women taking new roles in society, improving their minds, and becoming holy independent from the men in their lives.
