- Cheery Reluctance

Ms Mary Putnam was seen today leaving her house during “a certain time of the month.” While perhaps, dear reader, you may not find this a great shock, it is in response to the previously reviewed work of Dr. Clarke. Ms Putnam has done the unthinkable and proven, with real, scientific facts, that women do not need to rest during menstruation.
Unlike others (and by others this writer means men) before her Ms Putnam has included empirical data to prove her point. Instead of relying on stories about femininity and the ever-present bible, Ms Putnam has actually (and here is the real shock, dear reader) done research.

While some readers may find this shocking, anyone familiar with Ms Putnam’s previous work will know that she is well known for her abilities and high standards. This writer has heard from a reliable source that Ms Putnam was forced to resign from the Medical College because students were not able to meet her high standards.
Unsurprisingly Ms Putnam was trained at the Ecole de Medecine of the University of Paris, which anyone who is anyone knows is a far superior institution to any in the United States. She also holds degrees from the Female Medical College of Pennsylvania and the New England Hospital for Women and Children.
This writer is holding her breath to see what new insights (that at least half the population already know) Ms Putnam will present (with proof) to the world.
